Carpet Deodorizers are the next best thing that I will be offering! They are a great way to neutralize or absorb odors in carpet rather than masking them. Perfect for everyday use, although I'd recommend using them as needed and/or when your carpet needs a refresh. 

I made a first batch of testers back in May and I was quickly met with a setback due to the powder starting to clump due to the fragrance oil. I believe I was using too much fragrance oil. Back then my ratio was 90% baking soda and 10% fragrance oil. I thought it was an even balance, but sometimes less is best.

So, I continued with my research and found that arrowroot powder and kaolin clay powder are powerful agents that will even out the fragrance oil and prevent clumping. I made another tester earlier this month and also let it sit out for 24 hours, which I also think is helpful.
